I 'm going to share my precious seller experience on eBay “How to win a great bid on eBay?” If you wanted to make a great bid, you have to follow the steps of; Item Searching: About few months ago, I found a male-to-male USD cable on eBay.
First of all, I was searching all the listings price of the same items that what I wanted; you will see what average price for it. Therefore, I will set the item restrict price which I won't bid if it was over my budget.
Second, compare about Five or Ten items which are the most worth that includes the quality (new or old condition), the bid price equally (it's that what you want), shipping charge (Free or how much to pay), return policy (how many days of return after you received it), seller's score (Trust or hold) and how long of the time left to end up the bid.<.b>
Then, the best distance time for focusing the target items about 30 minutes before the bidding end. So you can view the item bid status such as bidding record -how many bids and who bids this item …that determine you will keep to target this item bidding or go to the other non-active bidding because it will increase obstruct on the too active bidding.
Now, I'm going to show you a real experiment. This item I target which only had 3 bids. It looked quiet because the bidders wanted to wait the time pass. I bid on the last about 5 minutes. That 5 minutes is very important, you must doing quick on the bid. Usually the bid won't success on initial few times because it won't show you the updated bid message until I hit the highest bid. They will give you some hints to get the right, but I got the highest bid in shortly that also under my budget… If the seller set no limitation of the winner, that means “who won who get the item” even the price was lower than their “Buy it now!”
If you can't hit the highest bid on last 5 minutes with under your budget, you have to leave and go to the other target bids.
Look! I got the highest bid at the last minute. My competitionor probably realize someone took their highest bids, they tried to hit the bid higher than me but it took their time on the bidding procedures that as same as I did. And also, because the other bidders were bidding in rush at this moment; that only make the traffic busy and slow down of the updated biddings data transfer.
Finally, times up! I won the item with my highest bid on the limited time. The item should cost me 80 cents that how much I bid. However, I actually paid 56 cents with free shipping for it that because; the seller set the item on “reserve price”, the basic amount which the seller wanted. That means; I won the item with the highest bid but only paid for the actual price.
